![]() ![]() ![]() I bought it this morning and I haven’t had any real issues with it. You want to avoid the Switch doing the upscaling as most TVs will do it better. Basically if the game is 1080p native like Mario Kart use 1080p otherwise use 720p. If you go into the Switch and drop to 720p output the image often improves drastically, as now its a single upscale done by the TV from 720p. ![]() Or try play in handheld mode, is the scaling issue gone? You can test this by setting your TV to 1:1, which gives you letterbox+pillar box or use integer then look at the 1080p image, its soft. So what ends up happening is the Switch scales 720p to 1080p then the TV upscales from 1080p which results in a soft image. So many devs use it system wide including the main UI screen, always 720p. Many simple games will still run at 720p even when docked and I think its due to handheld mode using 720p. I don't have Pac-Man Museum + but I have noticed scaling issues in general.
